Yeah, I like this one.
Admittedly, this has a lot more flaws than the best Star Wars movies. Obviously the Canto Bight plot is lame, and the Po/Holdo plot isn't that great, either. The jokes, for me, weren't too overbearing, but they could sometimes get in the way of emotional moments. Their are a lot of plot holes (which I can mostly ignore). The new characters aren't good or enjoyable. And some of the dialogue can be really cringe.
The cinematography is the best in the series. I love what they did with Luke's character. Pretty much anything with Luke, Rey, and Kylo is fantastic. The acting overall is really good. All the worlds and set-designs are visually stunning. I really like Po's arc (even if its based on contrivances). The light speed scene is awesome. The Yoda scene is one of the best in all of Star Wars. The themes it explores are really interesting and overall I really enjoy where Rian Johnson decided to take the series. I know I'm in the minority on this one, but this is a really great movie. I do think there are a lot of problems with it, but the good stuff in this movie is some of the best in the series.
