I liked every scene that didn’t have a Dutch angle
Even though I had read the book, and knew full well who the killer was, nothing up to that point had made me feel so much intensity. My heart drops every time in the final scene as the killer is revealed. That scene is so hard to watch.
Definitely a must see for all crime fans.

So, I liked almost everything. I was satisfied with the ending.
The aspect of “is it all a coincidence” is an interesting trope, but it felt a bit forced.
I do like how there is no stated deity, even though heavily hinted at, just like The Book Of Eli (2010). Most movies that rely on a stated god usually fail (see: Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas).
I liked The Village better, but I’d definitely rewatch this again.
