A beautiful conclusion to a beautifully thought out trilogy (I mean, at least I think this'll be the last one, unless they do a fourth in a direction of something more like Amour).
This is truly a set of three movies where we pratically see no actions, there are only conversations - there are no meaningful decisions while we live with these characters, almost all of that happens off screen. There are no tragic or fantastic events, there are just two people talking, yet over the course of three movies, I feel like I know their relationship more than ever. It's the ability and the beauty and the skillfulness that Linklater has in his dialogue to characterize these two people and their connection that makes a great viewing experience.
Jesse and Celine are the ultimate representation of emotional evolution, and growth. They simply feel warm, they feel real.
