gosh how is this SO GOOD. Had been hearing hype about this for weeks and knowing it was going to be way better than it had any right to be but gosh this thing is just a blast. and the animation is just so unbelievable. the switching between styles worked so well for the fight sequences. but also this movie just has an incredible amount of heart. watching this with friends, we were all laughing constantly. Pearl 2022
yeah this is great. Mia Goth is so unbelievably good. Truly just gave her all to bring Pearl to life. And that last monologue was just incredible. That final tableau of her and the table with her parents and the decomposing pig is also just so good?? Can’t wait to catch MaXXXine in a theater now.
